Getting a groove...

← Back to home

Morning all. This week I don't have a lot to update. Obviously, I'm enjoying life. I went back to jiujitsu this week and it has been great. I'm definitely out of shape but I'm showing up. Work has been consistent and I have identified some great patterns to solve some recurring problems. Lets see... I guess today is starting to be a status update rather than something inspiring. I guess it is all relative. What is inspiring? It depends. Maybe by stating I'm going back to jiujitsu someone else decides to start exercising. What makes you smart? Is it random trivia facts, is it some historical knowledge, is it being able to answer jeopardy questions? I think it is more important to have your own ideas, opinions, and solutions. Having an original thought is more prof of intelligence than something I could memorize. We were talking yesterday and I think another concept is understanding humor. They (not sure who they are) say "those who laugh lasts is the slowest". It is true. Communication between people needs to share stories, jokes, and some insight on a topical concept. That is how intelligent people tend to communicate. What if we could teach a computer to simulate humor, sarcasm, and original ideas. I think we already have. However, what defines an original idea? Something that we can't google to find the answer? I am just babbling right now waiting for football to start. But that's it for now. Thanks for stopping by...
