Relationships - Part 2
There are some realizations that I have learned recently. And here is where I can share about them. Most people who aren't married either claim they never want to be, or are wondering how they can be tomorrow. The "one" is such a Hollywood term. I think the "one" is a theory, but in reality, it is a whole different world. We need to communicate, but people often put on shows because they don't think they are good enough as they are. We are out of shape, not rich enough, not smart enough, not funny enough, not... whatever... and what happens? Eventually that "show" ends, and then the other person gets frustrated and vents to their friends how she has changed or how he doesn't spoil me anymore, etc... its because what you fell for wasn't who they were, and you pretended to keep up with the other fake image. How about this? Be yourself, if they don't like it, then don't waste your time. There are over 2 billion people in the world. Don't waste "shows" on people you don't really like. That is the best dating advice ever... be yourself. Now, in married life, it is a little different, you can be yourself and there WILL be things that annoy you in them... but what is fun is learning those things and sharing with them... trust me, you have traits that annoy them. It's life. Its fun learning more and more about them over time. I guess I'm pretty lucky considering that we can talk about anything... logically without too much emotions... a true rarity... but a blessing. :-)
thanks for stopping by.
